AP Biology Lab 3 help!?

A haploid cell can't undergo meiosis, because if it did it would end up producing cells with only a half set of the essential DNA - cells that wouldn't function. But it can divide by mitosis, many organsims such as mosses and fungi have dominate gametophyte (multicelluar haploid) life stages.
