Is 2012 real and the worlds end???

An actual scientist said that? A professional scientist actually walked up to you and said "An asteroid is going to hit the earth in 2012." Seriously, quit acting as if you were born yesterday. There is NO asteroid that's going to hit earth any time soon, or at least it's not very likely. People used to think 2000 was the end of the world. This is no different.
