What are the origins of your hockey fanhood?

We all started with this great game somewhere. I suspect that it involves family for some of you, while others may have more interesting stories to tell. For me, no one in my family followed sports, let alone hockey. But I cannot seem to recall just how I stumbled across it. I do remember the first players I started watching - Pierre Turgeon, Al MacInnis, Chris Pronger, Roman Turek, and Pavol Demitra. I also remember that it would be a cold day in hell when the Blues would beat the Red Wings...anyways, how did it all begin for you?
