Lego harry potter for nintendo ds help?

The only way (that I have found) is to pull the statue. It is all in timing. He'll catch you every time until you timed it just right when he wasn't looking. Your chance only lasts for a split second. Creep slowly to the statue but when you get there do not stay long. Immediately start to pull. It will eventually work. Hope this helps. =)
